The third session saw the participation of a French importer, Dugas. A first within the WDTS. So far we had received the bottles from the producers directly. This time the producers were all independent bottlers: Specialty Drinks (The WhiskyExchange) and The Nectar, independent bottler and importer of Belgium. This session was very interesting in terms of the quality of the bottles in competition.
- Springbank CV
- Glenallachie, 35 years Anniversary Selection (The Whisky Exchange)
- Longrow, single cask for the Nectar
- Lagavulin, Elements of Islay Lg2
- Longrow CV 2010
- Glendronach for Belgium (the Nectar)
Also a record turnout at the tasters. 24 whisky enthusiasts gave their opinion about these six bottles and the average scores ranged between 88.33 (Glenallachie) and 81.54 (Longrow) for f the Nectar.
Each bottle is listed separately on this blog, with the highest score and the lowestobtained. For details of all the tasting notes, please
