The fourth session was also pretty special. First, the fact that half of the bottles we got have been provided by The Whisky Agency, but also because two of the six bottles were single grains. Again Master of Malt deserves special mention because they participate for the third time, with two bottles. Another session with bottles ofvery high quality.
- North British 20 years (Master of Malt)
- Ardmore 1992 Liquid Sun
- Cameronbridge 31 years, Whiskies of Scotland
- Tamdhu 1990 Liquid Sun
- Cragganmore 20 years (Master of Malt)
- Tomatin 1976 Liquid Sun
This session took place in summer, which is not the ideal time for this kind of exercise. On the one hand many people are on leave and also the heat that often prevails in France is not conducive to the tasting. However, we had 19 participants who returned their tasting notes. All whiskys were of high quality and average scores were scheduled between 86.68 and 80.74 from the Tomatin to Cragganmore.
Each bottle is listed separately on this blog, with the highest score and the lowestobtained. For details of all the tasting notes, please go to
